A small insider tip: Instead of buying overpriced souvenirs directly at the souvenir shops, I suggest to take your bag on a Saturday morning and visit one of the plenty markets in London. Most probably you will find the same object half priced!
Edible and drinkable memories
Although the British aren’t famous for their cooking skills, the British couisine is better than its reputation! For whom it’s enough just trying a British meal should definitely try the traditional Fish & Chips as well as a rich British breakfast.
Who prefers taking something back home, could take a piece of Cheddar cheese or a cup of English jam or honey. Besides biscuits and tee bags are thoroughly popular presents. Especially the tee bag boxes are often very well designed, for example in the shape of the Big Ben or a phone booth; therefore they can be re-used after the finishing of the delicious tea.

Just recently I read an article about the huge pollution problem we have due to plastic bags. They are used on a daily base, but quite difficult to recycle. Due to their low price they are just used once and then thrown away.

Just wait a few minutes close to the Big Ben and take a photo while a red double-decker bus is passing under the Big Ben or book a ride on the London Eye for a wonderful panoramic view of London.
