My wife and I are seeking a studio (or one bedroom) apartment with access to a kitchen and stove in Venice’s Cannaregio area or within walking distance of that area. We are interested in the six nights of July 19 through 24. What would be the cost for various options?

The price for guest houses and apartments during this period range from US$58-73/pp/night from the search I made on HostelsClub.com. Here is the cheapest one I found http://www.hostelsclub.com/hostel-en-9704.html (guest house) at $51.13 per person per night for a private room with double bed in a guest house or for an apartment near Rialto http://www.hostelsclub.com/hostel-en-8208.html for $85 per person. When you do the search click on the property type and then use the interactive map to narrow in on the Cannareggio area. It’s best to book soon since that is high season and apartments go fast.
