The lucky winner of this week’s “Fantastic 5 Shots” photo contest will have the chance to win 2 nights in London and enjoy a free stay at The Dictionary Hostel, a brand new East London’s hostel! Eliska, the Dictionary owner, and her staff have shared with us some tips and top suggestions to get the most out of Shoreditch, one of East London’s coolest districts, a stone’s throw from Brick Lane, Liverpool Street and Old Street

- Walk down Hackney Road admiring the street art by famous street artists such as Banksy, Ghent and Roa

- Make a breakfast or lunch stop at Long White Cloud, we recommend the veggie breakfast!

- Depending on the day stopping at local markets such as Brick Lane Market – Where Eastern promise meets East End chaos. As well as bric-a-brac and fruit and veg, you can get everything from vintage clothes to taxidermies honey badgers. Broadway Market – The unmissable food lovers haven. It is best enjoyed with a big shopping bag and empty stomach, This is a must for anyone who visits London

- Go for pints and try the following bars:  “Translate” we could not resist but recommended our The Dictionary Hostel’s trendy bar, check out also  The Ten Bells – Infamous for being the place where Jack the Rippers last victims enjoying her final drink. Now it is party central and serial killer free! Don’t miss Happiness Forgets –voted the 12th best bar in the world, this is where The Dictionary staff go when we are feeling a bit fancy. Enjoy old style cocktails with an eccentric twist.

- Looking for a cool place where to have a bite for dinner? Have a look at the Dukes Brew and Que, Busaba and Yelo; Feel like dancing afterwards? The Dictionary’s Staff highly suggest XOYO, Cargo and LGBT Joiners – Iconic, ridicoulsy and ask camp as Cher singing a Judy Garland song. Fun gay club Joiners is all but a 3 minute walk from The Dictionary Hostel.
