Berlin is one of the true world capitals of gay travel, a city that rivals any in Europe for gay clubbing, social tolerance and LGBT performing arts. It’s therefore not surprising that (CSD Berlin) Christopher Street Day is one of the biggest in Europe, with an estimated 700,000 people expected to attend.
The 24th Berlin Lesbian and Gay City Festival is being held in Schoneberg’s, Nollendorfplatz, which is a huge gay friendly neighbourhood. Travellers arriving in Berlin can expect live DJ sets, dancing and awesome techno clubs during the ‘Stadtfest’.
If you’re planning to attend the Stadtfest and/or CSD Berlin this year, then book your hostel early to secure a cheap room. Berlin Pride will see hundreds of thousands of visitors arriving in the city.
