Nice beach

You may not wish to see all of the tourist attractions of the city, but you definitely need to visit the exceptional “Promenade des Anglais”, a street built along the water of “Baie des Anges”. This is the place to visit for a stroll in the sunset, and the calm, positive atmosphere will bring a smile to anyone’s face. While you’re here, walk or take the lift up to the wonderful “Parc du Chateau” to view Nice from this park situated on the top of a hill. The castle that once was located in this park was destroyed in 1706, but the Bellanda Tower that was once part of the castle still remains.

“Vieux Nice”, or the old city of Nice still has the colorful, vibrant atmosphere as always. Come here during the day to explore the beautiful buildings from the 1600s and 1700s, have a look in the small boutiques or seek some shade as you stroll around along the marketplaces, squares and narrow streets. Visit again during the evening to view the transformation of this calm old city into a place of noise, music, and crowded restaurants, bars and clubs.
